I'd switched the Rocksteady mantle for the Glider mantle for when I feel like getting 2 relatively close mounts off during a monsters rage, but the mantles really aren't needed seeing as how it's rare you're hit anyway. The chest, legs, waist and arms start you off with 5X Diving Blessing and 5X Stonethrower as well as quite a lot of decoration options. While the head and charm are optional the Gold/Silver rath combo is just too functionally great to pass up if using the Kinsect Only playstyle. Seriously, this weapon alone gives credibility to Jyuratodus and that's saying something.
Whichever you choose you will have the most slots available compared to the other "Elemental Boost" glaives. The upgraded version, "Laguna Glaive II", can be fitted with Health and Defense augments (as well as having layered weapon options) and function as a better mounting glaive. For "Kinsect Only" playstyle Jyuratodus' "Water Glaive III" can be fitted with max older Health Augments for massive returns.
